DISCOVER THE AMAZON OF GOTHENBURG

Just a quarter of an hour from Gothenburg Central Station, Säveån winds its way, surrounded by lush greenery, beating fish, beaver nests and hunting kingfishers. It is amazing that so close to the big city we have such an unknown but easily accessible gem that is best experienced from the water.
Our guided day tour in packraft takes a total of about 5-6 hours of which 3-4 on the water. We meet on site in Jonsered, participants get their gear out and we inflate the boats and go over what to think about. During the tour we will also learn how to maneuver the boats on the water and learn more about how to handle them on land. We finish the tour a stone's throw from the train, bus and tram stop in Gamlestan.
The tour usually ends around 2:30pm - 3pm.
ABOUT PACKRAFTING
Modern pack rafting originated in Alaska but is growing rapidly throughout the world and there are many specializations. Some people paddle forays, others bring their bike on board but the vast majority use it on hikes to get around where you normally can't move. So far there are few places that offer guided tours in packraft, but in Gothenburg it is now possible to join a guided tour to discover both the nature close to the city and pack rafting.
